About Asa

   
I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and raised in the small town of Hamilton, MI. Shortly after graduating from Hamilton High School I began my curriculum at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. I completed by BBA from GVSU in 2002 with a double major in Finance & Management.

During the time I am not helping people reach their financial goals I enjoy spending time with my family and volunteering for the community. My wife Jessica, and boys Alex and Corey can often be seen near our home in Comstock Park at the local park or getting ice cream. They, along with my parents & other loved family members are my "first family".

My "second family" that I serve are my clients, you. You have intrusted me to help guide you along the path of financial peace & prosperity. That trust means that I worry about the threats that can derail your plan, and celebrate the achievement of your goals. Just as the threat of illness may keep me up at night with one of my children, the threat of volatile markets can keep me up at night in concern for you.

From October 2005 to October 2011 I served on the GVSU Alumni Association on the Executive Board and as Chair of the Community Outreach Committee. One of my most proud projects that I helped to implement was Community Outreach Week (COW), a one of a kind week of service dedicated to uniting GVSU grads in helping to better their communities throughout the world.
